Disappointed

For a Crab and Corn soup to taste like canned creamed corn in the State of New Jersey is criminal, Jersey has some of the best corn in the tri-state area. The menu description of the Potato Chip garnish should read Potato Chip Crumbs, several larger chips would at least have made the soup presentation impressive before the disappointment.
The next course from the "Lobster Bar" was the Lobster and Filet skewers, a true yin and yang eating experience, the beef was cooked to perfection while the lobster was so chewy I may swear off my favorite crustacean. The A.C. Salad with Chicken was tasty, but a bit over dressed. Steaks, were the only saving grace for the evening, cooked to order and well seasoned.
The al la carte side dishes were so, so for the $9.00 tag. Our table tried the Peppered Fries, (a sprinkle of sea salt and a final grind of fresh black pepper would have made a big difference in my book), the Cauliflower and Goat Cheese Gratin was very good, (sharpness of cheese blended well with the vegetable), Mushrooms and Onions, along with the Creamed Spinach were just cafeteria average, I think the kitchen needs to rediscover the shallot.

Thankfully my husband hit enough on the slots to cover our meal. The Borgata and I are now even, there is no reason for us ever to return.
