Manager Mario Garcia believes the Spanish Tavern has stayed in business since 1932 for two simple reasons: "Because we serve the best food we can buy -- and because we have repeat customers." The Spanish Tavern prides itself on its paella, including the paella marinera (fresh lobster, clams, shrimp, mussels and scallops cooked with saffron rice) and paella valenciana (fresh lobster, clams, shrimp, mussels, scallops, Spanish sausage and chicken in saffron rice). The restaurant also has select fine Spanish wines to match its cuisine.
