This cheery storefront restaurant has a convivial atmosphere, a mostly local clientele and a menu with a range of dishes from many regions of Mexico. Listed in Spanish and English, it includes everything from soups (some large enough to be meals in themselves) and a few salads to Mexican-style sandwiches, tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas, tostadas and much more. Try the camarones a la plancha (grilled shrimp served with heads still on) or one of the specialties, such as Bistec a la Mexicana (marinated thinly sliced steak sauteed with peppers, cilantro and tomato and topped with cheese).
