For the uninitiated, a panini is a sandwich containing a variety of meats and cheeses and served on artisan bread that is placed into a hot press, grilled and served warm. And while you'll find nearly 20 varieties of the sandwich at Panini Bay on Parker Road in Tuckerton, you have to hit the restaurant at the right time to get one. Panini Bay serves its namesake sandwiches for lunch every day and for dinner on Thursday night, which is known as panini night. Other than the delectable sandwiches, the restaurant also serves a variety of fine Italian cooking in a casual setting with a waterfront view.
