Isabella's, which opened in 2007 on Asbury Park's Cookman Avenue, became Belmonte's Ristorante in February of this year. The new menu features a sizable pasta selection, including favorites like Penne a la Vodka and Ravioli Bolognese as well as less conventional dishes, like Cappellini with garlic, lump crab meat, diced tomato and arugala.
The entrees also include traditional Italian choices with creative selections thrown in, like Chicken Philadelphia, made with shallots, mushrooms, a cognac demi glaze and a green cream peppercorn sauce. Save room for desserts, which are made fresh on the premises.
