This popular restaurant and ice cream "bar" is housed in a cozy log cabin-style building, and it has a new 24-hour location opening in summer 2008 on nearby Long Beach Island. The menu has a breadth and diversity that rivals any New Jersey diner, with a huge number of appetizers, soups and salads, sandwiches, burgers, pastas, seafood, beef, chicken and rib dinners and, of course, ice cream. Signature favorite sandwiches include the lamb-and-beef Jenny Gyro, served with homemade tzaziki sauce, and the Wisconsin Horseradish Melt, a sub with roast beef, bacon, sauteed onions and pepper jack cheese.
