Everyone from Judy Garland to Madonna has graced the stage of Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall since the venue first opened its doors in 1929. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1987, the hall has played host to some of music's biggest stars through the years: The Duke Ellington Orchestra in 1938, The Beatles in 1964, Marvin Gaye in 1976, the Police in 1984 and both Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen in 2003.
