End of an Era
End of an Era rocked the Brighton Bar's stage hard at Metromix's third round of the BreakThru band competition on Thursday, Dec. 2. The electro-rock group from Toms River brought a power-punch, crowd-pleasing presence to the night, performing like pros. Their hard-rock tunes radiated through the venue with force -- capturing the full attention of the judges and fans. End of an Era will be moving on to the finals in March with Carpet Ride and Our Last Sin for a shot at the $30,000 jackpot.

Coming in as runner-up is Reverse Order, the high-energy pop-rock group from Hackettstown. Syncronized jumps and guitar swings by the band's three vocalists kicked off the set. The Blink 182- meets -All American Rejects outfit put on a charismatic and entertaining show. Reverse Order will be joining Almost There and Lost in Society in the wildcard round on Thursday, Feb 3.
Also performing was the Creetons, who started the night off with their indie/punk rock tunes, followed by Christina Signorile and the Fever. Alt-country group the Sunday Blues wrapped up the evening. Overall, round three saw a diverse and talented line-up of local acts.
