When you think of the types of acts that perform at a casino, first impressions range from either the Rat Pack or snooze-worthy lounge singers. However, since opening in 2003, the Borgata in Atlantic City has set out to prove that casinos can, indeed, rock. With both the 2,400-capacity Event Center and the 1,000-capacity Music Box theater inside the casino, the Borgata has drawn such acts as Pearl Jam, Gwen Stefani, Kelly Clarkson and Lenny Kravitz through the years, making good entertainment one of the few sure bets in Atlantic City.
