For those with their ear to the underground rock rails, some of the most exciting releases of the past few years have been the modest and quirky seven-inch "super singles" released by Seattle-based singer/songwriter Jason Webley on Eleven Records. The series, which features Webley performing with fellow under-the-radar artists, was kicked off in 2006 and each set, which is printed in a limited run of 1,111 copes, comes with a seven-inch vinyl single and a bonus CD of outtakes. Speaking recently with Metromix Jersey Shore, Webley discussed the origins of the series as well as when fans can expect its next installment.
