Jon Bon Jovi is coming back to Sayreville, and it's for a good cause.

The Bon Jovi frontman, who was recently nominated alongside his band for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, will be performing at Sayreville's Starland Ballroom on Jan. 27, 2011. Tickets for Jon Bon Jovi and Friends, priced at $250, go on sale tomorrow (Dec. 9).

According to a news release, net proceeds from the performance will benefit the Parker Family Health Center in Red Bank. On its website, the Parker Family Health Center describes itself as "a volunteer-based, free health care facility where Monmouth County residents without medical insurance or the ability to pay can be cared for with the same level of dignity and confidentiality afforded in the private sector."

Sales for the Starland show will be limited to two tickets per person and tickets will not be mailed in advance; patrons will need to show proper ID and the purchasing credit card on the night of the show and proceed immediately into the venue.

Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Thursday exclusively through Starlandballroom.com and Ticketmaster.com. Tickets will not be available at the box office or any retail ticketing locations.

Bon Jovi, formerly of Sayreville and later of Middletown, has a history of rocking in support of the Parker Family Health Center: in December of 2008, the "Livin' on a Prayer" icon performed at the Hope Concert IV, a benefit concert also featuring performances by Bruce Springsteen, Southside Johnny Lyon, the Gaslight Anthem's Brian Fallon and Nicole Atkins.
