from One of Jersey's most rocking clubs, Maxwell's has hosted Nirvana, R.E.M. and The Replacements through the years. When Yo La Tengo holds its annual run of Hanukkah shows or underground legends such as The Feelies or The Vaselines reunite, they turn to this Hoboken staple. The club also gets bragging rights for its great sound and sightlines, a restaurant where performers such as X's John Doe can be spotted on the night of a show and for being one of the few Jersey establishments to serve Lone Star beer.
