When the inaugural Jersey Acoustic Music Awards were held in early 2010, the awards' first-ever best new artist trophy was take home by Matt Wade, and for fans of the up-and-coming piano pop-rocker from Point Pleasant, that victory was hardly a surprise.
Combining jazz, rhythm and blues and ear-catching pop, Wade has been making a name for himself since releasing his debut album in October of 2009, thanks to a sound that should appeal to fans of Gavin DeGraw, John Mayer and Maroon 5. For more on Wade, visit his MySpace page.
