Howell-based trio Carpet Ride is looking to bring fun back into punk.
As bassist and singer Tommy Russo told Metromix Jersey Shore in a 2008 interview, "We love to play simple, melodic beats, simple songs, pretty much, kind of like the old Blink days and the old Green Day days. And it’s taken a back seat, it really has, and we’re still trying to do it because it’s what we grew up listening to. We love playing that kind of stuff, and it’s the only thing we pretty much can play."
