Tonight, two of your favorite USA Network series are coming back to your ridiculously expensive flatscreen TV (seriously, how often has that 1080p resolution actually come in handy?).
First off: Everyone's favorite obsessive compulsive detective is back—and for the last time. What's being billed as the final season of the quirky crime-solvin' comedy series "Monk" returns Friday, August 7, and will reportedly finally find the O.C.D. sleuth solving the mystery of his wife's murder.
But will history remember Tony Shalhoub the way they do Peter Falk and Telly Savalas?
Mabe the boys of "Psych" know the answer. Yes, with so many psychic detective shows out there, we've come to appreciate "Psych" and its sardonic take on the often overly-serious genre. On Friday, Shawn and Gus return for their fourth season, helping out the Santa Barbara Police Department with their phony psychic powers.
To whet you appetite, check out this bizarre outtake from "Psych":
The final season of 'Monk' premieres Friday, August 7, at 9 p.m./8c on USA. An all new season of 'Psych' premieres Friday, August 7, at 10 p.m./9c on USA.
