I go to the buffet they offer on the weekdays for $7.99 each weekday. They offer all the popular Chinese dishes, steaming hot and you can go back for refills for as many times as you want. You don't have to do the buffet, you can order from the menu at any time. Staff very friendly.

Although, the only positive thing that I can say about this establishment - the outside seating in Bradley Beach, happens to be rather nice, and comfortable. Which I enjoyed thoroughly after having 5 cigarettes while waiting on my meal. Here's a personal message to the "wanna-be" cook/chef, that confronted me, in the parking lot while I was waiting on the valet to bring my vehicle up. Everyone can cook, but not everyone can be a chef, or a tough guy for absolutely no reason when the business owner should the be one to properly handle the situation, especially considering that just maybe my food came out cold, because the so-called cook and the wanna-be owner both had another confrontation prior on into the night. Oh, and one final comment - the pictures that this business has posted, are completely from a food magazine, or google. This is not even close to the presentation of the actual food.

Sat down tonight with my wife, and a very good friend of mine for a birthday dinner. Not only was the food lousy, it took over an hour and half for the entrée to arrive. People that arrived after us, were served before us. Our entree s also came out COLD! After an hour and a half of waiting, you would expect to get your entrée hot, and impressive - totally opposite. The owner was a complete disgrace as a business woman, as well as the chef/cook. The service, in addition, took at LEAST 30 minutes to get back to us when checking up on us. The only decent conjecture of this institution lacking any compassion for their patrons was the bread and the olive dip they served as a pre-appetizer. To top it all off - the owner came to me to justify what occurred, and her answer because your order got #$%$ up does not give you the right to be upset, and to lower my tone of voice all to save faith in her so called establishment of business. As well as she kept saying to myself, my wife and my friend out loud What, you ve never eaten before? trying to make me out to be some derogatory person. What a crock of chicken #$%$. Then the cook/chef (or whatever you would refer to him as, considering it doesn t take a rocket scientist to cook a decent CHICKEN FRANCAISE which, by the way, came with a sauce that was NOT a FRANCAISE sauce whatsoever by look, let alone taste) also suggested I leave the premises, which I was attempting to do while standing in the parking lot, having the owner go Big deal your food was cold, its not the end of the world For a bill between $200-$300 dollars, which by the way I refused to pay, you would expect better compassion towards your patrons, let alone a HOT, and APPEALING dish. Instead, I could have gotten a better dish from a McDonalds for Christ sake! At least it would have been HOT! My advice - do NOT bother wasting your time, or your money at such an establishment. Its not worth waiting for unappetizing, unappealing, RUDE, inconsiderate, and down right despicable service that a dog would not even deserve, let alone a rat. Oh and in addition from reading a fellow personal review of this establishment - by LAW they are required to accommodate in all designated requirements for handicapped individuals; ex: ramp's to enter the establishment, restrooms/bathroom facilities are required to accommodate handicapped patrons, and if they are NOT visibly noticeable (in the case that the handicapped entrance to the establishment is in the back); #1 - It is not apparently visible to the general public, which it HAS to be.& #2 - Entering the back of an establishment, or being unable to enter due to lack of signage/visibility can make an individual feel uncomfortable, as well as unwanted as a patron, not to mention the other various exploits of this establishment.

I can't believe this person is a professional photographer. Perhaps he was trying to drum up business from all these happy little couples. As a potential customer, I would want to see the booths, the food, the crafters; NOT 14 pics of Harry and Sally, Bobby and Betty.......I was a crafter at this event, with unmistakably the busiest booth on the boardwalk. Think they should help promote the small businesses that helped make this event a success.

Whether you live in the area or are just visiting, McDonagh's you're never disappointed here! The staff is friendly and attentive and the food is great too! They have live music, a satellite radio juke box and beautiful décor. It gets kind of crowded on Friday nights, so come early if you want to reserve a seat at the bar. There is outside seating and a dining room as well. This is also a great place to come watch sports, as they have televisions all around the bar........the popcorn is awesome too! Definitely worth checking out!!! Highly recommended by our family!

I'm inviting you to join us for "The Battle of New Jersey Dart Leagues" this June in Ewing NJ Teams send ten members to do 'battle' in a round robin against all the other leagues. It is English style darts but American style players do very well. Last year there were ten leagues from across the state. Meeting all these dart players is a great experience and a lot of fun. Please let me know if you are interested - or not.

First off ,Giuseppe and his son Vito never owned another establishment..They stole recipes from another place in cobblestone village after he worked there...Giuseppe is a bread maker and always will be...They make their chicken stock from scraps such as the things we throw away..They always fight all the time when I worked there..Vito always degrades the ladies that come in there with sexual harrassment and told everyone he was with my wife...They take huge shortcuts and if you could see how they make their food you wouldn't believe it...Don't eat here...

Very nice restaurant with good Italian food. We tried a bunch of appetizers and everything was really good the clams oreganata were my favorite! For dinner I had the capellini and shrimp and it was extremely good!!! They also have a great wine and martini list to choose from!
We were there in April of 2012. Yes, off season. We loved the place and would hang out there if we were locals, but California is a bit of a schlep to the north end of LBI! It was raining and we were glad to be out of it. It has been several months now since our visit, so details are foggy, but I thought the food was good, the service friendly and not intrusive to conversation, i.e. polite. --Got 2 in the Coast Guard... and one is just a block away from this restaurant at the Motor Lifeboat Station, Barnegat Light.
LarryPernini wrote about Old Man Rafferty's
Back during the summer (yea, this isn’t a very timely review) I went to their Hillsborough location with a friend and ordered something I thought would be quick, easy and ‘safe’ . . . a cheese burger medium well done. When I received my burger and I cut in in half, it was visibly red in middle with its meat juices flowing. So, I understand this sometimes happens, and I inform my waitress that my burger is not medium well done, and she agrees with me (she was very nice), and takes my burger back to the kitchen. Then, the general manager (who I find out later has over 15 years’ experience at her job) comes over so she can make sure just exactly what I wanted to be done to my burger, since as it was served to me, it was "a perfectly made medium well burger". Wow! What ever happened to the customer is always right? . . . not to mention the burger was visibly red in the middle, dripping juices, to myself, my friend, the waitress and the manager with her 15 years of experience. So, I have to explain to her that if this is perfect medium well burger, then I want my cooked more (no kidding this, this really happened to me – even my friend was shocked at her rude behavior . . . like I was the idiot here). I then get my recooked/new burger, cut it in half, and guess what, well it’s no longer red, but still very reddish and dripping juices! The waitress is horrified and offers to once again take it back once again. I thanked her and said let’s just forget it and ate the outside of the burger and left with my friend. So, due to my horrible experience, I decide to write the owner and explain what happened, since based upon my 55 years of eating hamburgers, I never knew that medium well was red and dripping juices, not to mention I wanted to inform him of his managers rude behavior. He replies, defends the actions of Hillsborough manager, and tries to baffle me with culinary verbiage explaining to me that all of their protein is check with “3 second thermometer” and it should have an “internal temp of 155 degrees, an industry and culinary standard for medium well” . . . well OK, thanks for temperature reading, but what about the fact that the burger was red a dripping juices. I swear this is all true and have the email chain to prove it. Net net, the moral of my story is: IF YOU WANT A MEDIUM WELL HAMBURGER AT OLD MAN RAFFERTY’S, BE PREPARED TO SEND IT BACK . . . AND EXPLAIN YOURSELF TO THE MANAGEMENT SINCE YOUR DEFINTITON OF MEDIUM WELL IS NOT AN INDUSTRY OR CULINARY STANDARD!
bulldog109 wrote about George-Lu Chinese Restaurant
George Lu's was a really great , moderately priced restaurant with great food. After George tragically died, his brother Vincent tried to maintain the tradition of this once-fine restaurant. Now the workers are gone, the tables are clothless, the ambiance is non-existant. The food is still good. However, the "family owned" description may not be the same family that originally owned this establishment. It is good for pickup and delivery but not for dining there. The ambiance lacks character and charm.
The creative writing in the preview is really imaginative. The tables are two card tables pressed near each other with the first one right by the entrance door where a cold draft hits you every time the door opens. "Cozy" yes if you like having customers backs almost in your face while you try to enjoy the "ambiance". The store has good products and good people. But get real! the store is extremely narrow and is nothing like the pretentious platitudes drawn for the reader. Extremely disappointing in presentation only.

Everything at the Flaky Tart in Atlantic Highlands is amazing. The croissants and pie crust are buttery and true to the French standard of pastry making. But get there early. Everybody in town knows if you want an almond croissant you need to be there at opening. My husband is not able to walk out of the shop without a full box of delicious goodies. If you want something for a special occasion make sure to order it before hand as each day a horde of locusts seems to have passed through there!!

I highly recommend Francesco’s! Held a surprise party there and everything was so well attended to, there was no worry. Relaxed enjoyed the food, service and friendly staff, whom make you feel at home. Phil & Jac were fabulous at getting the menu planned and had just the right amount of food and it was all so good and fresh.
