Why not the Crab's Claw Inn of Lavallette or Rockafella's of Ortley Beach? Hmmm.......

Just tried the Colts Neck Inn this past week. Very comfortable & easy going place. Plenty of people hanging at bar, & many families in dining room. I had one of the best steaks I've ever had, 16oz. Filet Mignon has outrageous. Also try their Ahi Tuna Tower great presentation & taste. Our waitress told us they have live bands on the weekends too. This will definately be our new local hang out.

Have been going here for three years now. We love the food, the decor, the staff - there is nothing bad to say about Clementine's. We have spent every special occasion here since we first discovered it, have brought in town and out of town guests and they love it as much as we do. Great job guys!

The Sawmill Football Party is not what it is cracked up to be.Been there 3 times on sunday and the third time was the charm for me ,If your looking to see seasides finest who stray away from Riggers, this is the place to go. And if you were a big fan of the old Sawmill, there are only less then a handfull left of the old employees which dont look to happy to be there. The place looks like its slowly dieing, everyday except sunday and it looks like there giving away the place to seasides finest just to get people in. Other then sunday if your looking to go to place that is dead high priced drinks with lots of soda and a splash liqour in it, no by backs with a loud mouth bartender with tatooes that will skeeve you to high heaven. This is the place to go. And its a bartender like that which makes people stay away. Even when she isnt working she is out and about with her GreenRoom shirt on announcing where she works keeping good clientel away. There are tons of better places to go in seaside and will be staying away from this one. The Sawmill may it R I P

Hey Francop46! These restaurants opted in to this event which is presented by Bestweekends.com. I do not believe that Anna's is one of the participating restaurants.

How come you didn't include Anna's Italian Kitchen, one of the best italian restaurants in Monmouth County,in your Jersey Shore Restaurant Week?

Try the szchewan Dumpling Salad. It's not what you think of as traditional dumplings, but the salad/dressing is amazing. I've been eating it for 10 years, and it's always great.
newtomich wrote about D&L Bar-B-Que
We've passed by D&L for over a year in Asbury... heard gr8 things from friends, so finally we went last nite. It was probably the best bbq ribs i ever had. their mac and cheese is to die for (the SIDE IS MASSIVE). you may think it's a tad pricey ($20-$25 per entree, the big rib ones) but you get like 2 sides, cornbread, salad AND LEFTOVERS for probably 2 more nites! The ribs were pull-off-the-bone... I had the Guinness ribs and my hubby has the slow cooked ones (both pork, tho they have beef ribs, which i never see anymore so that's a nice treat)... some caribbean and cajun things on the menu which i can't wait to try. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND... excellent food in asbury... casual attire....they give you plenty of napkins after you've licked your fingers!

TischaC wrote about Eurasian Eatery
I highly recommend this restaurant for those looking for great, comfy, healthy, organic food. This type of food is scarce in NJ and Eurasian definitely has it's pulse on the organic dining experience.
bjkwjk wrote about Eurasian Eatery
What can I say?, this is one of those places that isn't going to win any awards for it's food or service, the ambiance is nothing special... BUT.... The overall experience is comfortable and satisfying. The food is tasty, the service is warm and attentive, the prices are great. You can't go wrong, it's like eating dinner at the home of a good friend.. I would highly recommend the Eurasian Eatery.
bjkwjk wrote about Mr. Pizza Slice
Don't get me wrong, I like the pizza, Italian hot dogs and the fries. What I don't like is paying $2.50 for a slice that is scarcely larger than my hand. The place itself is dumpy... No space at the counter, crappy dining area, borderline rude (unless you are one of the owners buddies).....
bjkwjk wrote about Dish A Restaurant
Tried Dish on one of the nights where they offered the Prix Fixe special. Room was very loud. Ambience = Chic cafeteria. Service was...just okay, nothing special. Could have been friendlier. Food, was once again, okay, to be honest, the dish I ordered was way too big. Almost as if they were trying to offset the mediocrity of it all. Value: not worth it, even at the Prix Fixe pricing. I'm glad I tried it, probably won't go back...
VeryUnhappyDiner wrote about Dish A Restaurant
I recently dined at Dish restaurant with my friends. We were looking forward to an enjoyable and festive night out over a great dinner. When we arrived, we were greeted with an empty hostess stand. We waited several minutes for someone to return so that we could be seated. The hostess finally arrived. She looked annoyed and perturbed and without uttering a word, she seated us. The hostess promptly left and we sat around waiting for our waitress to arrive and greet us. We waited over ten minutes but our waitress never came. After fifteen minutes, the same hostess/waitress returned bearing the same unfriendly and annoyed demeanor. We asked for some water and her large frown enlargened. She appeared anxious to leave and we tried to give her our order before we lost her again. She seemed so frustrated about having to linger and take our order, that we thought that perhaps she was not our waitress...although we later learned that she was. We asked the waitress for the standard bread and olives (that every other table had) and she never returned with it. We had to flag down the bus boy to get the bread since our waitress had failed us. About 45 minutes after we were seated, our appetizer finally arrived. It was served by our busboy because our waitress had completely ignored our table. In fact she walked by our table every 2 minutes, but never once stopped to ask how we were doing or if we needed anything. In fact, we still did not get our water. We finished our appetizers and the waitress still had not yet visited our table since she took our order. The busboy cleared our dishes. When it was time for our entrees, again the waitress was still MIA. The busboy served us our entrees and when we finished, the busboy cleared our plates. All this time, the waitress still had not once stopped at our table, even though she passed by it very frequently. Exactly 1 hour from the time we had placed our order, was the second time our waitress finally returned to our table. We were so put-off by the bad service that it really ruined the entire dining experience for all of us. There were exactly 2 waitresses for the entire restaurant of 12 tables (and one of the waitresses was also serving as the hostess). While we could understand the complete lack of service if they were understaffed, we found it outrageous as to how rude the waitress was. Each time she passed our table, we sustained her nasty glares and frowns as she breezed past us. It is amazing how terrible service can ruin an entire dining experience, but this waitress managed to accomplish it. One could find better waitress service at McDonalds...at least they greet you with a smile. In the end, we stopped eating and took our food to go because our evening was ruined by this one person. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. As regards to the food, it was ok, but not spectacular...and certainly not good enough to offset the non-existant service. Best advise is DON'T GO

The service is slow and some of the waitresses have attitudes. The food is great. Holmdel is better service wise.

Married at The MIll on October 10th. What a great day! Food, service and decor were exceptional. Guests are still raving about their experience. A couple of friends in the bridal party were so impressed that they are planning their weddings and are strongly considering The Mill for 2010 and 2011. Highly recommended if your taste is upscale and want the best for your guests. Ceremony site is great this time of year.

What happened to freshly baked goods? I was sold 2 Red Velvet Cupcakes today that were refridgerated from the night before and the frosting was lhard as a rock. Not to mention that the cake was stale and lacked any flavor. Totally disgusting Don't let the picture fool you. They do not sell cake slices after the summer! This place has gone downhill since I started going there in 2007. The person behind the counter when I visited was clueless and very rude.

My girlfriend and I went to a "Gallery Reading" basically just to have a good time and not expecting much. It was really out of control! She would point out specific people and tell them on point messages like, "Your dad who worked here says...." They say to keep what happened there private so I don't want to say too much because it really did seem intense to those she spoke too. It was closure for some, answers for others, I am just even more curious!
