Belmar St. Patrick's Day Parade
It's official: the 2011 Belmar/Lake Como St. Patrick's Day Parade is in the books. Held Sunday (March 6), the 37th annual event included floats, fire engines, bag pipers, marching units, bands and enough revelry to fill another year's worth of céilidhs.
The parade kicked off at 12:30 and was followed by post-event celebrations of Irish food and drink specials at popular watering holes like Bar A, Connolly Station and Kelly's Tavern.
