RunAPalooza 2009
Sunny skies, temperatures in the mid-70s and westerly winds were the ideal combination for 3,000 racers who participated in Asbury Park's first ever RunAPalooza.
The event comprised two races and a walk: the 13th Annual Jersey Shore Relay Race, organized by the Jersey Shore Running Club to benefit the Special Olympics of New Jersey; the Asbury Park half-marathon, organized by Jersey Shore Running Club to benefit the Children's Tumor Foundation and the Special Olympics; and a fun walk organized by Special Olympics that also benefits the Children's Tumor Foundation and the Special Olympics.
