Whether you live in the area or are just visiting, McDonagh's you're never disappointed here! The staff is friendly and attentive and the food is great too! They have live music, a satellite radio juke box and beautiful décor. It gets kind of crowded on Friday nights, so come early if you want to reserve a seat at the bar. There is outside seating and a dining room as well. This is also a great place to come watch sports, as they have televisions all around the bar........the popcorn is awesome too! Definitely worth checking out!!! Highly recommended by our family!

We were there in April of 2012. Yes, off season. We loved the place and would hang out there if we were locals, but California is a bit of a schlep to the north end of LBI! It was raining and we were glad to be out of it. It has been several months now since our visit, so details are foggy, but I thought the food was good, the service friendly and not intrusive to conversation, i.e. polite. --Got 2 in the Coast Guard... and one is just a block away from this restaurant at the Motor Lifeboat Station, Barnegat Light.

All of the staff there are low grade and rude. The food is over priced and the portions are small. I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life. Save yourself time, aggravation, and money and avoid this tourist trap at all costs. If your not a Barnegat Light local yokel, you will be treated very rudely. This place really sucks!

We went to Aqua in AP for dinner & drinks the other night! Great food & the staff really made us feel at home with the friendly service & not typical Jersey attitudes I've found in other places. Great recommendation for others to check it out. What a view and the ocean breezes kept us comfy in the warm summer temps. They do have an inside as well which we will check out next time. Happy to give this a 5 star review

Had a sampling of appetizers and all were delicious then I had the ribs. OMG! The meat just fell off the bones and the tenderness, juiciness and just the right amount of sauce truly made them finger licking good.
