This motel, restaurant, bar and nightclub is busy all summer long, with an indoor sit-down restaurant serving steak and seafood. There's a pool patio and bands playing weekends through the summer. Right on the ocean in Long Beach Island's Beach Haven, the Sea Shell usually is packed with beachgoing 20-somethings from noon until early morning, so those seeking a sleepy seaside motel should look elsewhere.
