You can have your white-bred yuppie bars, thanks to these out-of-the-way oases, drinking purely for the enjoyment of drinking doesn't always have to require an intervention. We chose our favorite neighborhood dives, where drinks are cheap, pours are stiff and the surly are welcomed with open arms.
