This casual, bustling restaurant serves what's describe as high-end comfort food, and it has a full-service bar as well as a separate lounge annex. It isn't a fancy place, but the exposed concrete and brick and tasteful decoration lend to a hip atmosphere. The menu offerings range from such appetizers as baked brie, fried calamari and stuffed artichokes to such hearty tavern fare as dry-rubbed ribs, corned beef and chicken pot pie. Steak and seared tuna also are on the menu, along with several entree-sized salads. Local bands play Thursdays through Sundays, making Brickwall a busy weekend hangout.
